Creatives can still submit their visions via the company's website until 22 July. This summarises the most unusual accommodations on the platform and has even become one of the most popular categories on the website.
An expert jury consisting of designers, experienced architects and Airbnb hosts will decide which visions are the most feasible and unusual. This year, Koichi Takada, founder of the Sydney-based architecture firm Koichi Takada Architects, is on board, as is style icon Iris Apfel. Kristie Wolfe, who is a superhost on Airbnb and has designed unique Airbnb accommodations, and Bruce Vaughn, Vice President of Experimental Creative Product, are also part of the jury.
